The Lower Gym, a musical, opened August 21, 2008 to rave audience reviews at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, California as part of the University's Fall Festival of new works. Opening Night was attended by many of Star of the Sea's Class of '65, with a pre-party at the home of Teri Baldocchi-Baxter.
The Lower Gym boasted a wonderfully talented cast of young women. The show was produced by Mary Hill, choreographed by Cheryl McNamara, directed by Ann Lawler, with Larry Rice as musical arranger, pianist, and vocal director with Patty Colman Lawler.
The request for tickets was so profound we had to open up the final dress rehearsal to audience.
